Due to the international nature of Hong Kong and Singapore, USANA is amending the policy toward the enrollment of non-citizens in these two areas. Under this new policy effective April 3, 2006, Hong Kong and Singapore will no longer require proof of citizenship as a condition of enrollment. By so doing our distributors will be able to broaden their prospecting efforts to include those people who live in or travel frequently to Hong Kong and Singapore but do not have citizenship there.
In order for a non-citizen to enroll, he must have a local correspondence address (no P.O. boxes), a local bank account for payment of commissions, and a valid passport as proof of identification.
USANA will not ship product across borders into countries where our product is not registered and where we are not licensed to do business. Additionally, USANA will continue to enforce the restriction against prospecting in countries where we do not officially operate. Non-citizen enrollees will be expected to comply with Hong Kong and Singapore labour laws as well as internal USANA policies and procedures.
All other policies regarding new markets and international activities will remain intact.
